Electromechanical cylinder type EMC from ANT Antriebstechnik

ANT Antriebstechnik is expanding its current range of linear actuators with the second generation of EMC electromechanical cylinders. They combine the properties of slim cylinders with the digital control options of electric drives. They therefore offer high positioning accuracy and dynamics and also cover a wide range of kinematic applications. The cylinders consist of anodized aluminium profiles in standard ISO dimensions and integrated high-precision ball screws with various diameters and lead combinations. They can achieve variable length strokes of up to 1500 mm. The cylinder housings have a hygienic design: They no longer have any grooves, scores or slots in which dirt particles could become trapped. As an option, the screws on the front can also be covered or "sealed". The cylinders are also designed to IP65 splash water protection class. In the IP65 versions, a pressure equalization opening prevents excess or negative pressure from developing in the cylinder. The IP65+R version is also equipped with seals and wipers made of chemically resistant materials. This gives the cylinders resistance in aggressive environments, such as those found in many chemical and process technology systems.
