The EE074 from E+E Elektronik is suitable for precisely measuring the temperature of air, gases and liquids. The sensor can be used for climate and process control in the food and pharmaceutical industries, in clean rooms or in agriculture. Its measuring tolerance is specified as ±0.1 °C and its measuring range covers -70 to +105 °C. An IP68 stainless steel housing and the encapsulated electronics ensure a long service life even in harsh and condensing environments, according to the supplier. The RS485 interface with Modbus RTU protocol enables simple design-in of the sensor. With the immersion sleeve available as an accessory, the temperature sensor can be used for temperature measurement in pressurized liquids up to 25 bar. Thanks to a special mounting spring, the sensor can be fixed in the sleeve without fastening screws. The sensor head diameter of 6 mm also allows the use of other common immersion sleeves. The sensor is connected using an M12x1 plug.
