'Industrial Intelligence' - this is the guiding theme of the Hannover Messe 2019. Computer&AUTOMATION shows an excerpt of the products that can be seen in Hanover in a picture gallery.
The IoT edge gateway Dataeagle 7050 from Schildknecht has now been combined with Raspberry Pi technology, which should lead to a flexible and secure connection to the cloud or the Dataeagle portal positioned there as a device cloud. Equipped with the Raspberry Compute Module, the unchanged compact Dataeagle Pi gateway offers all functions relating to data pre-processing and mobile communication, but also has embedded Linux and the associated options of an industrial PC for installing individual software, for example. Users who already work with a Rasperry Pi device can use their software on the device without any additional effort. One variant also offers the Codesys software interface and thus becomes a controller.
