Kostal Industrie Elektrik presents the Inveor drive controller platform. The platform can be used to control motors with motor outputs from 0.25 to 22 kW. Motor-mounted and wall-mounted housing variants offer flexibility. For the HMI, a membrane keypad, an external manual control unit and a housing-integrated MMI, operation via external touchscreen and operation via computer with corresponding application software are available. For communication with the application environment, Inveor is compatible with almost all common control environments. The customer can select the bus system relevant to them, with the controller supporting CANopen, Profibus, Profinet, Modbus, Ethercat, SAS and even the Sercos environment. According to the manufacturer, the platform offers a comprehensive range of motor-specific adapter plates for mechanical motor adaptation, as well as universal adapter plates whose hole pattern can be adapted to the motor conditions by the customer. Asynchronous and synchronous motors can be controlled via the adapter plates.
