Formula Student Germany 2019German racing cars prove themselves at the Hockenheimring
Around 3,500 students from 25 countries brought the asphalt at the Hockenheimring to the boil at the beginning of August: At the 'Formula Student Germany 2019' design competition, their self-built racing cars competed in the combustion engine, electric drive and autonomous vehicle classes.

Let's go to the race track! For safety reasons, the vehicles are only allowed to move under engine power during the competitions. Pure muscle power is used before and after - with the help of so-called 'pushbars'.
