Voith presents the CLSP servo drive, a hydraulic linear axis. The drive features automatic, load-dependent switching of the hydraulic transmission ratio. Intelligent downsizing reduces the connected load and makes the motor and inverter smaller, cheaper and more compact. The drive achieves working forces of up to 300 kN. The robust design results in maintenance intervals of three years or 20,000 operating hours. The CLSP consists of three main components: servo motor, 4Q internal gear pump and a directly coupled hydraulic cylinder. The sensor technology provides the basis for integration into automated manufacturing or production systems. Typical areas of application for the CLSP are the automation of linear movements of all kinds, handling of components and machines with bending, separating and forming processes.
