The DA-1000 embedded PC is based on the Intel dual-core Atom E3826 1.46 GHz processor and operates without a fan at temperatures from -25 to +70 °C. Thanks to the use of an SSD as data storage, there are no rotating/moving parts in the system, which means it operates silently over the entire temperature range, according to the provider. Thanks to its graphical capabilities and silent operation, the model can be used as a terminal for data acquisition in industrial automation and other industrial and scientific fields. With two optional full-size MiniPCIe slots, the installation of WiFi, GSM, mSATA or various I/O modules is possible. In addition, two plug-in cards offer RS232/422/485 or 4 × digital I/O interfaces each. An on/off remote control facilitates operation when the device is installed or inaccessible. With dimensions of 150 mm × 105 mm × 52 mm, the metal housing can be installed on the wall, via VESA, in a cabinet or on a top-hat rail.
