Ferrocontrol also offers multiturn absolute encoders for the "E°Darc K" servo drive system, which are integrated into the servomotors of the "E°SC3" series. Their resolution ranges from 20 bits (singleturn) to 36 bits (multiturn). Thanks to the flat design of the battery-buffered encoders, the overall length of the motors is significantly reduced compared to the multiturn encoders previously used, according to the manufacturer. The multiturn position measurement makes referencing runs superfluous and ensures high repeat accuracy.
