VDMA2017 will be a year of growth
Carl Martin Welcker announced a real production increase of 1% at the VDMA's economic press conference. The association president thus confirmed the forecast for the mechanical and plant engineering sector for this year.

German production of machinery and equipment remained at the previous year's level in 2016 despite numerous burdens. In nominal terms, an estimated production value of 203 billion euros is expected for the past year - a new record according to the VDMA.
