With PMCprimo MC, Pilz offers a scalable stand-alone motion controller solution with a 1.3 GHz processor.

According to the supplier, this means that, on the one hand, larger programs can be implemented with the same cycle time and, on the other hand, shorter cycle times can be implemented with the same program size. Thanks to Soft PLC in accordance with EN/IEC 61131, the control system enables fast commissioning. The system supports communication interfaces such as Modbus TCP, CANopen and Profibus DP-S. The motion controller has three encoder inputs for absolute or incremental encoders, allowing master encoder functions and position control to be implemented. A USB interface is available for data backup. There are also 16 digital inputs and outputs. The stand-alone motion control system complements the drive-integrated control system 'PMCprimo C' as an open external control system.
