Direct drive for handling work

IEF-Werner has expanded its euroLINE direct drive series with a variant that is particularly suitable for dynamic and precise applications, for example in handling and assembly technology as well as in semiconductor and electronics production.

The linear unit euroLINE 140 from IEF-Werner is ideally suited for the construction of multi-axis positioning systems, e.g. with the linear unit euroLINE 200.

The ready-to-install linear unit EuroLINE 140 is the latest member of the euroLINE direct drive series from IEF-Werner. It can be used to move loads of up to 30 kg with positional accuracy. The smallest stroke of the linear unit is 10 mm and reaches up to a maximum of 3.7 m in 48 mm increments. The maximum speed is 5 m/s, the repeat accuracy is ±0.005 mm and the peak force is 420 N. The linear unit can absorb torques of up to 200 Nm on the slide.

The direct drive is equipped with a flexible metal belt cover, which largely prevents the ingress of dirt and the release of particles. This means that it can be used in both dirty and very clean environments, for example in clean rooms.

With the euroLINE 140, several independent slides can also be mounted on one guide. The linear unit is suitable for setting up multi-axis positioning systems.
