Chief Production Officer becomes CEO

Joachim Ley is the new CEO of Ziehl-Abegg, an electric motor and fan manufacturer. He assumes responsibility for the entire management board.

Joachim Ley (47) had been COO (Chief Operating Officer) of Ziehl-Abegg since 2021. He was also responsible for the areas of production, purchasing and central logistics and processes. Prior to Ziehl-Abegg, Ley was responsible for many years as a board member in a supplier company in the aviation industry.

"With Mr. Joachim Ley (CEO), Mr. Wolfgang Mayer (CTO) and a successor for the CFO position who will be named as soon as possible, we will have a three-member Management Board in the future," explains Supervisory Board Chairman Dennis Ziehl.
