A degree in medicine (79,500 euros) or law (74,000 euros) generally leads to high salaries in later professional life. Engineering graduates also enjoy a high salary level (69,900 euros). Industrial engineers are even slightly above the average (70,300 euros). In contrast, academics with degrees in history and cultural studies (46,800 euros), design (46,000 euros) and education (45,100 euros) often receive below-average salaries.
