Dekra labor market report 2018Mechanical and electrical engineers less in demand
Software developers and programmers were most in demand on the job market in spring. Demand for traditional engineering disciplines has fallen compared to the previous year. These are the findings of the Dekra Akademie's Labor Market Report'18.

Around one in ten job offers are aimed at applicants with management experience (11.5%). The proportion of positions with personnel responsibility has therefore remained stable. Ambitious project managers in particular are offered a wide range of job opportunities, with almost one in three positions with personnel responsibility advertised for them (32.6%). This is likely to remain the case, especially as project work is on the rise.
