Luca Fäth (17) is this year's national winner in the field of technology. He designed an alternative to the self-balancing Segways, which he believes are overpriced. His unicycle keeps itself balanced. A wooden housing with seat and handles houses the battery and the electric motor, which drives the wheel of the scooter with a belt.
