VDMAJob expansion planned in mechanical engineering
The core workforce is to be increased, additional jobs created and the range of apprenticeships and dual study programs expanded. This is what the majority of German machine and plant manufacturers want. However, there is a problem.

In the area of junior staff, the number of dual study places in engineering and IT and industrial/technical apprenticeships has increased further. 34% of HR managers want to offer more technical dual study places in their companies in the future, compared to 30% six months ago. 30% of those surveyed also plan to offer more technical/industrial apprenticeships, compared to 21% in June 2021.
