The encoder offers up to 43-bit resolution, short cycle times and a robust design. Thanks to integrated protection mechanisms in accordance with IEC 62443, the encoder ensures safe and reliable communication even in safety-critical applications, according to the manufacturer.

The encoder is part of the manufacturer's universal Industrial Ethernet platform, which provides a uniform basis for all Ethernet encoders. In addition to the new model, users can also choose from other encoders such as the Sendix S58 for functional safety, developed on the same platform.
