Mazet launches the MTCS-CDCAF color sensor. The fully integrated sensor chip of the 'Jencolor' family includes a true color filter function, integrated signal amplification based on a current-to-charge digital conversion and a temperature sensor on chip. The sensor combines the functionalities of the Jencolor MTCSiCF detector and the digital signal converter MCDC04 in a minimized form and is adapted to the application-specific requirements for lighting. In addition to use in LED luminaires, they are also used in LED backlight systems for monitors, in architectural lighting, in vehicles and aircraft as well as in medical and technical luminaires and displays. The sensor measures the color coordinates of light as XYZ signals in the CIE-1931 color space directly and independently of temperature and other interfering influences. Thanks to the interference filters used, the sensor works reliably even at temperatures above +100 °C. In addition to color temperature and location, it measures brightness and other photometric parameters such as color brightness, frequency and flicker.
