The ToughNet TN-5916 series complements Moxa's family of EN-50155 compliant train backbone solutions. The routers support NAT and routing protocols, simplifying cross-network application installation. They feature four bypass relay backbone interfaces and the Virtual Router Redundancy Protocol (VRRP), which provides router backbone redundancy to increase fault tolerance. In addition, the routers offer a wide voltage input of 24/48, 72/96/110 V(DC) (24 to 110 V(DC)). As they are EN 50155/50121-4 compliant, they are suitable for a wide range of rail transportation applications worldwide. The router series was developed in accordance with the IEC requirements for Ethernet Train Backbone Nodes (ETBN).
