The RFID-based read/write station from Telemecanique Sensors ensures safety: operator identification limits machine operation to authorized personnel and eliminates potential sources of error. Each employee can use the read/write station to view the relevant and approved parameters. In addition to personal identification, production lines, docking systems, charging stations for electric vehicles, car washes and other components can be monitored. In addition, the RFID tag uses machine data to indicate when maintenance is due. The read/write station can be attached via a standardized 22 mm hole. The RFID device has an M12 connection and can be connected directly to the operating terminal. No separate software is required for commissioning. Thanks to the Modbus RTU communication protocol, the read/write station can be connected to most existing systems. Protection class IP69K also enables use in outdoor areas. The read/write station transmits at a frequency of 13.56 MHz and draws its power from a 24 V connection. Two multi-colored LEDs are built into the display to show information.
