Winners of ELSA's second Industry Call announced
The network of excellence ELSA - European Lighthouse on Secure and Safe AI - has completed its second Industry Call and selected seven companies as winners.
ELSA was looking for startups and small and medium-sized companies in the fields of cybersecurity and compliance, robotics and robotics software, big data, analytics software, education technology, FinTech, logistics, AI translation, general artificial intelligence, AI research and development, AI chatbots, AI deployment, artificial consciousness and AI infrastructure.
Following an application and presentation process, an independent jury of experts selected seven companies as winners. They will receive 60,000 euros in funding and will work with the AI experts from the ELSA network during the six-month funding period. The winners of the Industry Call come from different sectors and come from all over Europe: Kiin AI (healthcare sector, from the UK), LightMirror (construction sector, from Lithuania), ReqCon (construction sector, from Belgium), Starlab Neuroscience (healthcare sector, from Spain), Trace Labs (healthcare sector, from Slovenia), Vertliner (robotics, from Greece), and Vivid Mind Health (healthcare sector, from Poland). The broad spread of industries underlines the importance of artificial intelligence for the future of the economy in Europe and worldwide.
In addition to supporting the promising applications, ELSA's Europe-wide Industry Call strengthens the connection, knowledge exchange and collaboration between excellent AI and cybersecurity experts and business-related companies.
