Rippa, the robot for intelligent perception and precision application, is a prototype for the vegetable growing industry. Based on the design of Ladybird, the researchers have modified the platform configuration for Rippa to make it lighter, more robust and easier to operate. Mounted on Rippa is Viipa, an intelligent precision applicator that allows the robot to spray weeds precisely and at high speed.
