RoboCup 2016Robots stir up the Leipzig trade fair
Soccer skills were in demand not only at the European Football Championship in France, but also at the 20th RoboCup in Leipzig at the end of June. The players were not humans, but smart robots. In addition to soccer, they demonstrated their skills in the disciplines of care/service, rescue and industry.

... the 'Call RoboCup@Home': various companies presented their robots for the two new standard platform leagues in the @Home discipline, which were launched in 2017. Up to now, the teams have been free to choose the hardware and software in this discipline, in which the robots complete household-related tasks. From 2017, two additional standard platform leagues will be added in this discipline, each based on a different robot model.
