NGV planetary gearbox from Neugart

With NGV, Neugart has a planetary gearbox in its portfolio that is specifically tailored to automated guided vehicles (AGVs). In AGVs that transport heavy loads in 24/7 continuous operation, the gearbox is usually located directly in the wheel. Therefore, depending on the chassis principle, the entire weight of the vehicle and payload acts directly on the output bearings of the transmission. In addition, the naturally tight space conditions in the vehicle require a compact gearbox design. The NGV planetary gearbox meets these requirements with preloaded angular roller bearings, which can absorb high forces due to their design. This means that the wheel does not have to be supported separately, but the bearings on the output take on the load. The mounting flange of the gearbox is positioned so close to the chassis that it can be mounted directly there. The motor and gearbox can be pre-assembled as a unit and installed together. According to the supplier, it is possible to fit almost any motor by using a wide variety of motor adapters. The wheel itself is mounted directly on the flange output shaft from the outside and can therefore be replaced if necessary.
