The industrial PCs from Noax can be optionally equipped with the WLAN standard IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n and increase both data transmission security and range. This applies in particular to the C12 and C15 IPCs, which can be used in both stationary and mobile applications. The integrated WLAN antennas of the vehicle-mounted terminals make installation easier, both in stationary installations and in industrial trucks, which are often quite cramped. The integration into the housing also prevents the antennas from breaking off. To ensure continuous data transmission without interruptions, the provider's forklift terminals have two integrated antennas. There is also a solution for use in almost closed industrial trucks, where reception problems can occur due to the Faraday effect, to ensure data transmission via WLAN: Remote antennas are installed outside the vehicle, for example on the vehicle roof. The connection is made via the connector area.
