Automation and mechatronicsNew products at Automatica 2016
Automatica, the biennial 'Trade Fair for Automation and Mechatronics', will exceed the number of exhibitors from 2014 this year. Computer&AUTOMATION shows a selection of the new products presented by the 825 or so exhibitors in Munich in a picture gallery.

Stemmer Imaging and Perception Park present image processing systems based on Chemical Color Imaging (CCI) technology. CCI makes complex hyperspectral data at the molecular level usable for industrial image processing. Based on their chemical and molecular properties, objects leave a unique 'fingerprint' with their spectral signature, which can only be identified with hyperspectral cameras. According to the provider, the use of hyperspectral systems in industrial environments has not yet been widely applicable. Perception Park has now developed a generic, intuitively configurable data processing platform that makes scientific methods of hyperspectral analysis intuitively accessible to everyone. The software platform serves as the basis for hyperspectral systems.
