Japanese robot manufacturers are now also working intensively on human-robot collaboration. While many manufacturers are developing special (lightweight) kinematics for this purpose, Fanuc is focusing on upgrading its standard industrial robots for HRC. Daniela Schmid, Area Sales Manager at Fanuc Germany, explained what this looks like in concrete terms.
