The institute is developing a digitalization roadmap for this task, in which the networking of production IT is shown step by step. The roadmap is intended to provide production companies with orientation for the integration of robotics into production IT. Furthermore, the aim is to support connectivity to Industry 4.0, for example through the possibility of gradually integrating further cyber-physical systems into the digital factory.
