New productsNews from M2M, remote maintenance and telecontrol
In the course of Industry 4.0, remote control - i.e. remote access to machines and systems - and the topic of M2M communication in general are becoming increasingly important. The picture gallery shows a selection of current products in this area.

The robust, intrinsically safe WLAN camera Orbit X from Bartec Pixavi is certified in accordance with CSA, IECEx and ATEX Zone 1 and makes mobile work in hazardous areas safer. The camera can be used as a helmet, inspection and surveillance camera and is suitable for both stand-alone and network use. Two integrated LED lights, a built-in laser pointer and optional accessories such as headsets, wall brackets or telescopic poles extend the device's range of application to dark and difficult-to-access zones. In addition to ad hoc sessions and troubleshooting with remotely connected experts, the range of applications also includes live streaming and CCTV applications as well as video recordings for inspections or training. As an alternative to a direct Wi-Fi connection to the network, the camera can be paired with the 'Impact X' for a 3G or LTE connection. The Android-based Wi-Fi camera offers 8 megapixel images and 1080p videos that can be stored locally on the device or streamed wirelessly. The 'Sipido Mobile Telepresence' app supports SIP-enabled video conferencing systems and applications as well as browser-based real-time communication via webRTC.
