Touch panel use in outdoor areas
With the 'F16T-PX-Plus' touch panel, tci offers a 16-inch touch display that has been specially developed for outdoor use. The closed housing offers all-round IP65 protection and is prepared for mounting arm installation.
The bright display in the anodized aluminium front enables intuitive touch operation. The operating system is Linux or Android. An integrated safety system ensures reliable operation in the temperature range from -40 to +70 °C. The dew point monitor is combined with a heater so that the system can be started and operated safely even at a condensing humidity of 100 %, according to the manufacturer. In particularly hot environments - even in direct sunlight - overtemperature monitoring and a hinged sun protection hood with glare protection ensure operational safety. The touch panel from tci has passed all tests in accordance with DIN 75220.
