Rafi has developed the new SmartTouch armrest for the Valtra S-series model 'S394'. It will also be integrated into the N and T tractor series in the future. The company also offers a new control panel for the current PistenBully PB 100 series, which also combines all controls for vehicle and implement functions in the armrest. The central joystick for vehicle and hydraulic control has a sophisticated double-joint function that allows the dozer blade of the tracked vehicles to be moved intuitively into any position. In addition, the handle integrates a total of 18 buttons, rockers and rotary potentiometers for quick function selection, adjustment and input acknowledgement. With this powerful solution, Kässbohrer intends to standardize the cockpits of all Pisten-Bully series in the future. According to the manufacturer, the User Behavior Monitoring functionality enables an analysis of individual operating behavior by permanently monitoring the condition of the armrest control unit and thus provides conclusions regarding the quality and ergonomics of the operating system. On this basis, user behaviour can be optimized and efficiency increased.
