Semtech Corporation presented the next generation of its LoRa devices at the trade fair. They are designed to improve the power transmission balance (link budget) of Semtech chipsets by 20% - with a simultaneous 50% reduction in power consumption in the receiver (4.5 mA). As a result, the battery life of LoRa-based sensors is extended by up to 30%.
