On February 10, the Plagiarius campaign awarded its 41st prize of the same name to product counterfeiters and imitators. In addition to consumer goods, industrial components are also frequently among the counterfeited products. This year was no exception.

The imitator of the 'Ciento' vacuum jug copied the design of the product from the Wertheim-based company Helios. However, he is not selling this copy under his own brand or under 'Helios', but is illegally using the Swiss brand 'Zepter' from the company Zepter International. The counterfeit appeared via a bazaar dealer in Dubai in the United Arab Emirates.
