What innovations are there for industrial users on the measurement technology market? Computer&AUTOMATION has summarized a selection of new products in a series of pictures

National Instruments is presenting a new model of its Virtualbench measuring device - the VB-8054, with which the company wants to combine five of the most frequently used measuring devices at the test bench in just one device. Thanks to the 500 MHz oscilloscope bandwidth and a faster function generator, the new model can now be used for even more applications. The other new functions include Mixed-signal oscilloscope with four channels, 2 GS/s sample rate and logic analyzer (34 digital channels), function generator for sinusoidal signals up to a maximum of 40 MHz, square-wave signals up to 5 MHz, ramp and triangular signals as well as DC and arbitrary waveforms. The Virtualbench application requires no installation and is loaded automatically when connected via USB under Windows. The hardware is available in three versions, which differ primarily in the analog oscilloscope bandwidth - 100, 350 and 500 MHz. With these three models, the series is intended to cover a wide range of applications and budget ranges.
