The new PLC-supported multifunctional case from Gemü is used to operate, program and initialize automation devices attached to process valves independently of systems. These include, for example, electrical position indicators, valve interfaces and electronic and electro-pneumatic controllers. The multifunctional device is especially designed for Gemü automation technology. However, devices and products from other manufacturers can also be connected to it. For this purpose, the serial case also has freely selectable input/output signals 0-10V, 0-20mA and 4-20mA as well as a device supply of 24 V/DC and an Ethernet interface. Sensors and transmitters can also communicate with the device. The multifunctional case is also suitable for training technical personnel, for example in maintenance and system servicing. The case has a Siemens programmable logic controller (PLC) and is equipped with an industrial touch screen display. The clear graphic display is designed to ensure intuitive operation even for less experienced users. Eight languages can be selected (D, GB, F, S, RUS, ES, BR, IT). A small compressor and a pressure accumulator are integrated in the function case.
