Machine learningLeading-edge cluster it's OWL shows new approaches
Companies and research institutions in the leading-edge cluster it's OWL are developing new approaches to machine learning for SMEs. The cluster is now showcasing exemplary solutions at the joint stand in Hall 16 A04 at Hannover Messe 2019.

... new business ideas are born. Eight start-ups will be presenting their concepts at the joint OWL stand in Hanover. Amendate, for example, offers software for the fully automated optimization of components for additive manufacturing. The Paderborn-based start-up was founded in mid-2018 out of Paderborn University. The software quickly creates organic-looking structures with smooth, optimally shaped surfaces. The components are thus precisely tailored to their individual areas of application. This makes both the development and production of components faster and more cost-effective. Errors and rejects are avoided and the quality of the components increases. The service is primarily aimed at customers in the aviation and automotive industries as well as mechanical and plant engineering. The industry portal 3D-Natives named Amendate the most innovative start-up of 2018.
