WEKA Fachmedien welcomed around 160 participants to the 2018 Artificial Intelligence Forum in Stuttgart on May 17. At the 'AI in the factory' slot, it became clear that companies should get started so as not to miss out on the AI bandwagon.

To round off the event, Dr. Joachim Schrey explored the question of who is liable for autonomous systems in his closing keynote. His sobering conclusion: "The legal profession is still at the very beginning when it comes to artificial intelligence" - in contrast to the technology.
