Industry 4.0 liveFraunhofer IPA presents new application scenarios
At the '2nd Top Meeting Industry 4.0 live' on July 25, Fraunhofer IPA scientists will present their new and expanded demonstrators. The aim is to enable companies to experience the benefits of intelligently networked production.

... the scientists are presenting an adaptive workstation that automatically adjusts to the employee's body dimensions. To this end, they have set up a height-adjustable work area and linked it to an assembly assistance system. As soon as a person stands in front of it, the integrated 3D camera scans the measurements and forwards them. The workstation now automatically adapts to the person and provides them with the materials they need.
A second innovation in this showcase is the intralogistics app Info@need, which sends employees new picking orders in real time depending on their location.
