Project planning without system development
With a series of customized runtime systems, the manufacturer 3S-Smart Software Solutions simplifies the use of the Codesys system software for control applications on various device platforms.
This means that the software can be used to program PC-based devices and embedded platforms such as the Raspberry Pi without the need for in-house system development. Integrated compilers generate high-performance binary code and conserve system resources. The runtime system controls the execution of the application code and offers debugging and commissioning options. The range of fully customized runtime systems is now available for device platforms such as industrial PCs from Beckhoff and programmable fieldbus controllers from Wago. Once installed, they enable project planning with the full scope of the Codesys Development System, including extensive support for fieldbuses such as Canopen or Ethercat.
