The international trade fair addresses topics relating to production and assembly automation from material receipt through all process steps including quality assurance, labeling, packaging to order picking and intralogistics. Assembly systems, handling technology, robots, joining and screwdriving technology, material flow and conveyor systems, measuring and testing technology, as well as drives, control systems, sensors and software will be on show.

With the Arena of Integration (AoI) theme park in the center of Hall 6, organized by trade fair organizer Schall together with around 30 participants and cooperation partner Landesnetzwerk Mechatronik Baden-Württemberg, the trade fair aims to provide trade visitors with specific answers to questions about intelligent production and process chains in conjunction with digital applications. Well-known companies from the industry will be represented among the AoI participants, including Pilz, Phoenix Contact, FPT, Balluff and Adiro.

The keyword at the AoI is 'connectivity': the participating companies have developed project ideas together and will be demonstrating industrial manufacturing processes in conjunction with digital applications. They show what processes need to look like in the context of progressive digitalization in order to be efficient and economical. The integrative theme park will also show that competitors can be partners at the same time: Networking on the technological side on the one hand, and on the entrepreneurial side on the other.

Schall is once again organizing Bondexpo parallel to Motek. The 13th edition of the trade fair for bonding technologies will showcase detailed and system solutions for joining and connecting components and assemblies in pre-assembly and final assembly. The trade visitors will thus be given a comprehensive picture of the value-added chains of information and process-oriented industrial production and assembly automation.
