drylin E-linear axes from igus

Igus has developed an easy-to-use controller to complement the 'drylin E' linear axes with DC motors. The dryve D3 controls linear systems without software or PC. The dryve D1 controller for stepper motors, DC and EC/BLDC motors has also been further improved. This motor controller for more complex travel paths can be operated intuitively via a browser and modified live. The 'D3' is suitable for all common DC motors. It is connected to the 24 V power supply and the operating mode, end position switch-off, acceleration and motor are parameterized via DiP switches. The speed can be adjusted using a rotary control. The current is limited by another controller using a screwdriver. This means that the control unit can be put into operation in just a few simple steps. An LED display communicates the current status of the control unit to the user via different colors. The 'dryve D1' comes onto the market with a new intuitive user interface. The user can operate the motor control unit via a web browser from a fixed PC or mobile device such as a smartphone or tablet. A clear interface helps customers to set the correct parameters. The control unit has a space-saving design and can be easily installed in control cabinets on a top-hat rail. It is then connected to a WLAN router, whereupon the system can be controlled wirelessly. Thanks to the integrated web server, no additional software is required on the operating devices and there is no need for additional storage media or similar.
