The new generation of Motion Controllers V3.0 from Faulhaber is designed for the DC micromotors from its own portfolio, but is not limited to them. The devices can be integrated into a wide range of environments via interfaces such as RS232, USB, CANopen or Ethercat. A universal connector concept and an extensive selection of cable accessories facilitate the electrical connection. Particular emphasis was placed on simple commissioning. The 'Motion Manager' user software has a new look and feel in version 6. A more powerful programming environment is available for applications and autonomous areas of use without a higher-level controller. Three device variants cover different areas of application: The MC 5005 and MC 5010 motion controllers with housing and plug-in connections are designed for use in the control cabinet or in devices. An intelligent modular system enables the integration of various brushless and brush-commutated DC servomotors in a standardized housing. The MC 5004 motion controller as an open plug-in card is designed for installation in existing housings. An optionally available motherboard makes it easier to get started with multi-axis applications.
