Smart IO controller from Microsens

With the Smart I/O controller, Microsens has developed a way to control even analog devices directly via Ethernet in the system. Thanks to power supply via Power-over-Ethernet (PoE+), neither the control bus nor additional power cables need to be laid. With this device, the company enables a complete IP-networked building automation solution without interface problems. It is aimed in particular at operators of buildings with an existing automation infrastructure. When modernizing or renovating, the device is designed to enable the switch to the smart building concept with as little effort as possible. It connects already installed sensors and actuators to the IP network and thus enables integration into the "Microsens Smart Building" solution. The "Smart I/O Controller" is used both to record sensor signals and to control automation actuators. It is available with input and output ports for digital and analog signals. Eight inputs (four analog/four digital) and four outputs (two analog/two digital) are available. Two analog inputs work as PT100/PT1000-compatible sensor ports. Several I/O controllers and connected end devices can be controlled via the "Smart Director App" and the integrated IEC61131-3-compliant "microRTS" PLC runtime system. Users can operate and configure the connected devices via the web-based interface of the "Smart Director App".
