In addition to continuous process value transmission via IO-Link, the pressure sensor from the PV series from ifm Electronic offers two switching outputs. It also has a compact design with a width across flats of 19 mm, a G ¼ process connection and offers a switching point accuracy of <±0.5 % and repeat accuracy of <±0.05 %. The sensor has a thin-film measuring cell welded directly to the process connection. Thanks to the seal-less design of the process connection, the sensors can be used in hydraulic applications and in inert gases. With the laser-marked housing sleeve, the sensor remains permanently identifiable even under adverse environmental conditions. The pressure sensor continuously transmits process values and other important data, such as pressure peaks, via the integrated IO-Link interface.
