Control hydraulic proportional valves

Controls for proportional valves are used in hydraulics when it comes to controlling large outputs and forces. In the navy, the control units ensure that winches and cranes raise and lower their loads evenly and quickly, while in industry they are used to ...

... they control presses, for example, and in wind power plants with hydraulic pitch, the valve controllers adjust the position of the rotor blades to the prevailing wind conditions. With a single PVA200 module from Bachmann electronic, a maximum of eight hydraulic proportional valves can be individually controlled. The modules are also suitable for connecting very large valves, as they can operate with a current of up to 2.5 A. Thanks to modern configuration tools in the company's own engineering software 'SolutionCenter' and in the web configurator, the parameter settings for the valve control are easy to make and do not require any additional special tools or specialist knowledge. The current-controlled actuation of the modules prevents the valve position from being influenced by temperature changes. In addition, the low setpoint/actual value deviation of 5 mA ensures high repeat accuracy. The current characteristic is fully configurable so that the maximum flow rate can be defined depending on the process. Up to 20 interpolation points are available for the valve characteristic curve correction.
