Portwell has launched the WUX-7x00U series - Small Form Factor (SFF) embedded boards with Intel Core i5 7300U and i3 7100U processors. The Intel processors integrate the Intel Gen. 9.5 HD Graphics, 620 graphics engine with 24 execution units, enabling improved 3D graphics performance and higher speed for 4K encoding and decoding operations. The embedded board offers up to 32 Gbytes of DDR4L SDRAM (2133 MHz) RAM and multiple memory interfaces such as a SATA III and an M.2 Key M for SSD. Three USB 3.0 ports and a USB 3.0 Type-C port are available for functional expansion. The Intel 620 HD graphics engine powers one DisplayPort (4096 x 2160 pixels) and two HDMI devices with a resolution of up to 4096 x 2304 pixels, which can be operated simultaneously. The board supports wireless connectivity including Wi-Fi and Bluetooth via an M.2 Key-E interface for communication and connectivity for IoT applications.
