Pro-face offers the new IPC generation PS5000 with Core i3 processors and 8 GByte DDR3 RAM. According to the manufacturer, the installation depth has been reduced by 66% with an approx. 280% increase in performance compared to the previous series. A fanless concept for the first PS5711W (15.6 inch) and PS5811W (18.5 inch) devices allows planning without ventilation ducts; the system visualization is upgraded to a 16:9 display mode. Remote access can already be integrated ex works and takes place via the remote HMI app. Further devices are available for the near future: Sizes from 10 to 22 inches in 16:9 aspect ratio with Core i7 processors or even installation-compatible 15-inch devices for the PS4700 series IPCs in 4:3 format. New for the PS5000 generation are the BTO (built to order) options for the interfaces and extended hardware, with which various options such as 2 MByte NVRAM, isolated RS-485 interface, Profibus DP master, CANopen master or a direct I/O card can be pre-configured. The devices are configured via a guided wizard on the Internet.
