Cooperative AGVs cannot reliably exchange data via WiFi channels alone. If visible light is also used for this purpose, the susceptibility of communication to interference is significantly reduced.

<p>The routing between WiFi and VLC is implemented using SDN. To avoid high latency times, the number of handovers must be reduced. This is achieved by using a clustering strategy with groups of cooperative AGVs.</p>
