Turck at the SPS 2022IIoT functions for RFID interfaces with OPC UA server
With a free firmware update, Turck's IP67 RFID interfaces are suitable for barrier-free communication in the IIoT, for example for identifying and tracking products.
With the ASi-5/ASi-3 gateways with integrated ASi-5/ASi-3 safety monitor from Bihl+Wiedemann, ASi-5 Safety can be integrated into existing applications and thus supplement ASi Safety at Work. According to the supplier, the new safety generation of AS-Interface enables significantly improved bus utilization, as one address can be used for up to 16 safe bits and other non-safe signals. Secondly, IO-Link safety devices, if available, can also be integrated into ASi networks with ASi-5 Safety without restrictions in future. By using a new generation of chip cards in the ASi-5/ASi-3 Safety Gateways - including for Profisafe/Profinet and Ethernet/IP - all data from the project planning can be saved in the gateway and read out again at a later date. For example, safety and hardware configurations, parameter settings and user comments are always available on site in the field as an image of the actual system situation.
