Hanover Fair 2018Festo shows self-learning workstation
Festo has given an outlook on its digitalization activities: In addition to bionics projects, the company will be presenting a self-learning workstation for human-robot collaboration at the Hannover Messe 2018.
Festo is launching the bionics construction kit 'Bionics4Education' this year to get young people interested in technology. It contains the material to build three different bionics projects: Bionic Elephant Trunk with Adaptive Gripper with 'Fin Ray Effect', Bionic Fish and Bionic Chameleon Gripper. In addition to the hardware, there is a digital learning environment with further content on bionics as well as helpful tips for practical implementation at school or at home. The free content helps both learners with assembly and programming and teachers with lesson planning.
